Balquhidder & Rob Roy

Rob Roy MacGregor is a huge figure in Scottish folklore and he lived his life in the mountains that surround Crianlarich.  He famously stayed at our hotel on at least one occasion - see our History for more details.  His place of burial is in the atmospheric Balquhidder Glen, just a short drive from Best Western The Crianlarich Hotel.
